We are so excited about the new walking paths in our front yard! We decided to hire our neighbor who is a landscaper specializing in hardscapes. Before, there was a tiny concrete sidewalk extending from the door to the driveway parallel to the house. Now, we can go to the street without traipsing through the lawn.
Here's some photos of the project:

| A great way to avoid days and days of shoveling! |

| Gravel installed on fabric to keep dirt from coming through the gravel |

Our next step will be to put down lots (8 yards!) of new planting soil mix and compost to build planting beds. Once it cools and starts raining, we'll start to put in plants.
Tomorrow we start the raised bed project for the vegetable and herb garden.
Wow! Totally cute. Love the shape! It will be really cool when you add the flagstone, too. Can't wait to see the 8 yards added. Rest now and then! xoxo
