The Mail Castle is Dead
Finally! Victory was ours when Tony struck the final blow that de-posted the mail castle for good.
We replaced it with a fabulous new mailbox that my Dad adorned with antique Ohio license plates, one of which was my grandpa's (initials RGF).

Oh, that looks great!! (and hahahah to the "dead as a doornail" castle. Gpa is smiling for sure! (as are Gpa Chids & Sharkey!) Congratulations! How's the mail carrier responding? :)
ReplyDeleteOur mail carrier seems to like it; she started using the new mailbox the very next day, even though the mail castle was still there for two weeks! I am looking forward to a conversation with her to see what she thinks for sure.
