I thought I would dust off this blog to show you how things are coming in the yard. So far, we've planted 183 native plants in the yard; most of those are in the back yard where we are aiming for creation of habitat more friendly to birds. This season I am focused on mulching around the plants to kill the grass (reducing mowing time, yay!) and to conserve water. Here's how it looks this month:
