We got the all-clear today on the soil samples today! That means the soil inspector didn't find traces of oil in the samples he took from around the buried oil tank in the backyard of the new house. Now we have to decide whether to decommission the tank (i.e. leave it buried but drain the oil and fill it with sand instead) or actually have it taken out of the ground. It's under the concrete patio, but that's not saying much - - it's not worth much. Just one of many decisions to come, I'm sure!
Nothing else to report except that I'm totally exhausted from the long day yesterday and bathroom shopping last night, it's nearly 6 PM and I'm still at work and still have a lot to do! It's going to be a crazy six months!
