Today the bathroom of horrors was demolished! Deconstructed, actually. Our contractor separated the old plaster from the lath, which will go to a construction debris recycler (the wood will probably become "hog fuel" for an industrial boiler somewhere) and the fixtures will go to the ReBuilding Center or Habitat ReStore. (Although I almost don't want to donate them because they are ugly and use too much water.) Doughnuts were a hit with the crew on day one. We'll have to up the ante next week.
Yea! That looks great...this is what progress looks like! And remember, never under-estimate the importance of feeding the crew ( and watering!) We think our demo and remodel was greatly enhanced by such efforts! Keep up the good work! xoxo
